It was my first time racing with my Remas teammate Jenson. He defended like a lion and won P1 in both heats and the final. 3 out of 3 – well done brother!

My races went really well! I got 4th and 3rd overall in my heats and 2nd in MightE class. I didn’t get to pass the chequered flag in the final because I got fired into the tyre wall on the last lap – but that’s racing!

I walked away totally fine and my only complaint was how many times people asked if I was okay. For the last time – I’m fine! Bring on round 4! 🏁

SuperOne Rounds 3 & 4 – Glan-Y-Gors

The 2026 SuperOne Series headed to Glan-Y-Gors in North Wales for Rounds 3 and 4.
GYG’s elevation changes and technical Dragon Complex made for a demanding double-header for the MightE Bambinos.

With qualifying and starting grid position key to the eventual order into the long run up Dragon Straight on the opening lap at GYG, a strong grid slot sets the tone for a driver’s race day and has a significant impact on finishing positions here.
Qualifying well here is crucial, and it was Jenson Parris who turned heads in the paddock with a blistering drive to fourth on the grid.

Given that this is not only Jenson’s first season but just his ninth month behind the wheel of a kart — while the drivers around him generally have at least one to two full seasons of experience — the pace he showed was nothing short of remarkable.

A notably fast starter who typically gains positions from the get-go and at worst holds station, Jenson’s qualifying performance is clear evidence of what many in the paddock already see in his potential. Here is a driver quietly dedicated to mastering his craft, and as the season wears on and the experience gap between him and the rest of the front-runners narrows, expect those occasional leaps forward in position to become a far more regular occurrence.

It’s been a really wet winter! Five of my last six practice sessions have been in the pouring rain. I was starting to forget what a dry track even feels like, and then Storm Goretti came along!

The storm hit Stretton Circuit, but it was so much fun! Me and my Remas teammate Jenson were the only two out there. Can you believe it? Out of all the seniors, juniors and cadets who usually share the evening with us, not one of them braved the cold, icy, snowy conditions. But there we were, two bambinos, the youngest of all Stretton’s classes, out in force! We fought through Storm Goretti and got some really important laps in. It was freezing but what a feeling!

And to make the evening even better, Team Remas have loaned me two new engines to help me take on the competition next season. Thank you so much Team Remas, you guys are the best!

The drive home was a bit scary. We passed hundreds of cars stuck on the roads, but we made it. If we can keep pushing through stuff like this, we can push through anything in 2026!
