My team helped me sooooo much again this weekend! They are the best.
I had a bit of a chest infection this week. But I didn’t miss any practice because I really really wanted to be ready. And guess what? It didn’t even affect me in my races!
I was still a bit sleepy in the warm-up though. But then when it was time for qualifying, I woke up a bit and I qualified in second place!
Then in Heat 1, I got a really good start and took the lead going into the first corner on the very first lap! From there I just tried to be smart and manage my pace like my team taught me. I led every single lap and won Heat 1, then I won Heat 2 as well! And THEN I won the final too!
I got the 1st place trophy for the MightE Bambino category and I won my class overall.
I think it was my best race EVER.
When you work really hard in practice it makes you go faster when it counts. That’s what I learned.
